About Us

We are a full-time, five-day per week school with students attending classes on our campus once a week on Monday from 8:30 to 3:30 and learning from their satellite classroom under the supervision of a parent four days a week. Our desire is to partner with parents in providing a community of like-minded families who train and equip their children in the way that they should go so that they will not depart from it, holding firmly to the Word of Life. Classical education strives to teach students how to learn, how to think (wisdom), and what to do (virtue). Wisdom and virtue are nurtured through learning of Latin, immersion in classical texts, and the study of the liberal arts. Christian education at HLS Phoenix Valley is rooted in the inerrant and authoritative Word of God, acknowledging that God is sovereign throughout all time, and has revealed Himself to us through His Son Jesus Christ.
